Hi all,
If you were not already aware then, codemasters have recently announced within the week that this year F1 2019 will be released a lot earlier than usual with it now being on June the 28th, which is quite different compared to the August release we have been use to over the past few game cycles.
Before this was announced myself and other admins of the league were looking to be able to bring VRC Season 2 on the current game (F1 2018). It was scheduled to be able to finish around a month before our predicted F1 2019 launch, with the changes to the F1 2019 release date we feel we do not have sufficient time to be able to get a second season in on this game.
This means that, there will be no second season held on F1 2018, meaning from April until June there will be no official leagues on-going within Virtual Racing Championship. This decision was made to be able to support admins and drivers.
Instead of this we will be hosting social events as well as mini sprint lobby championships in the mean time up until release date of F1 2019.
f1 2019 is currently being developed and looks to be the best game to date with many new features such as Formula 2 and custom liveries to be introduced into the game.
This gives us the confidence that F1 2019 will be a great game for the league to be able to progress and grow on as well as satisfying the drivers needs as well.
